The view from our apartment
The end of our first full day.
Looking back towards our lodging.
We've headed out on our first hike of the trip.
A nice panorama
Another pretty view
A happy cow near lush pastures
Nice view of a familiar trail, just a short way from our apartment.

Another veiw of the other side of the valley
Today, we had to drive to get to our hiking destination. Most days, we just walked.
Doesn't look like a nice day. We'll still have fun.
I like the way the church turned out here. Kind of a chalky, pastel.
The woods that we walked through as we got close to Telfs looked pretty young.
Another view of the woods.
A view of a smaller church near Telfs.
After lunch, we walked up the hillside to find these ruins and explore a bit
Note: We are in Switzerland now.
We saw some amazing metal sculpture. (See also ruins in the background.)
These cows are just on top of the world.
A marmot watching the cows.
Cows and Lake Davos
Up at the top, seeing a parasailer and clouds helps one get perspective.
Here is a modern bridge near Klosters.
That is what we called these stacks of hay - goblins. Imagine walking near them on a foggy night.
A panorama of Lake Davos
Looking at the lake through a forested area.
Back at Küblis - A view from the house we were renting.
A view of Küblis from our rental house
Notice that the fields have been cut. We noticed a lot of hay-cutting activity today, thinking that perhaps the grasses had both grown and had a day or two to dry out.
An overveiw of the valley looking ~north-east
A church up the hill.
Here are a few pictures of the beautiful scenery.
